Our Practice in Vancouver, Washington

Dr. Chan received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California San Diego in 1986 and her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1990 from Pacific University College of Optometry. To broaden her skills, she also completed a year of residency training, specializing in geriatrics and ocular diseases at the Veterans Hospital in Portland. After practicing in the Portland/Vancouver area for nearly 7 years, Dr. Chan purchased her first clinic in Battle Ground, Washington. She found private practice very fulfilling and promptly acquired her second office in 1999.

Dr. Chan is involved in both community and professional organizations. As a 30-year member of the American Optometric Association, Dr. Chan has always been an avid supporter of good eye health. Currently serving as the Immediate Past President of the Optometric Physicians of Washington, Dr. Chan is very active in educating the community about vision. She is a Nationally Board Certified Diplomate in her profession and a local Rotarian. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Lisa is our operations manager. She has spent many years in retail sales and merchandise management before coming to Precision Eye Care. She serves as our team leader and our coach. She is passionate about not only the eye health of our patients but also the fashion aspect of eyewear.

When she is not working, she likes to spend time with her family. She is also an avid reader.

Bernie is our lead optician. When you come for your exam, she will be the person helping you pick out your glasses and advising you on the different features you can incorporate into your eyewear. She has over a decade’s worth of experience in the optical industry and will make sure that you not only look good in your new eyewear but that the frame fits just right. Bernie will make a routine visit fun and easy.

When away from the practice, Bernie enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with family.

Roxann is our medical assistant. She works closely with our patients to complete the pre-testing portion of the exam. Roxann works with the doctor to ensure that the patients’ medical needs are being met. She has a background in social work but has been involved in the optical industry for close to 10 years and enjoys getting to know her patients.

When she isn’t working, Roxann enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking, doing game night, and crocheting.

Mike is our Apprentice Optician. When you come for your exam, he will be one of the people helping you pick out your glasses and advising you on the different features that you can incorporate into your eye wear. He had been volunteering for several months prior to being promoted.

In his free time he enjoys reading, comics, and playing video games with his friends.
